About Me

Who am I

Hi, I'm Minh, a Product Designer based out of Boston, MA. I believe UX is a powerful tool that can be used to solve meaningful problems that can positively impact communities. I love building products because I get to collaborate with awesome people, and help make user's lives easier. Let's build something amazing together!

My Story

I received a B.A. at Tufts University in International Relations (GO JUMBOS!), and received my MA in Human Factors and Information Design from Bentley University (GO FALCONS!) which gave me a strong foundation in UX research and aligning it with business strategy. I’m proud to say I’ve had a non-linear path towards UX design. I began my early career in marketing and communication roles across the various industries. My journey into UX really began when I led communications at New Sector (nonprofit startup), where I realized how crucial it is to create effective user experience to effectively engage stakeholders. Since then, I’ve designed products across healthcare tech, cybersecurity, and marketing tech.

My design Philosophy

  1. 1

Design is ethical. We have an obligation to use design as a tool to help, not harm our communities.

  2. 2

Design should solve problems. While aesthetics enhances the experience, design should be deeply rooted in addressing problems first.

  3. 3

Design is holistic. It is a process that should be collaborative with both internal team members, and targeted user personas. It is about understanding a User's entire journey, not just how they interact with a physical product.

  4. 4

Design should serve as a guide. It's not about showing the user everything, it's about helping the user make informed decisions effectively.

  5. 5

Design is contextual. No one solution fits all.  It is our job as designers to understand scenarios and problems and propose appropriate solutions.

My Life

I'm a UX designer by day, and an amateur chef at night. I'm mostly cooking for my growing family. I'm a proud girl dad to two little ones. You can also catch me jogging (really slowly) along the Charles River, getting crushed on the mats practicing Jiu Jitsu, or finding ways to travel around the world.
