#1 - UX strategy and product vision

This project gives details about how I employed a holistic end-to-end UX strategy towards building a product vision, from user research to high-fidelity mockups and testing. The vision was to build an integrated tool where marketers could intelligently engage with their audiences through an omni-channel approach.

MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHIES

  • Design needs to align with product strategy. Good design will result in good business.
  • Design should solve problems. While aesthetics enhances the experience, design should be deeply rooted in addressing problems first.
  • Design is ethical. We have an obligation to use design as a tool to help, not harm our communities.
  • Design is holistic. It is a process that should be collaborative with both internal team members, and targeted user personas. It is about understanding the full context of a User's entire journey, not just how they interact with a physical product.
  • Design should serve as a guide. It's not about showing the user everything, it's about helping the user make informed decisions effectively.
